Mrs. Folorunso attended the City of Birmingham Polytechnic where she qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1977. She joined the Daily Times of Nigeria Plc on her return to Nigeria and rose to the position of Senior Accountant with responsibility over Treasury accounting and Management. In 1989, she joined Centre-Point Merchant Bank Limited as a Senior Manager, Financial Control and Planning and rose to the post of Deputy General Manager and Head of Corporate Finance Group. In that Capacity, she was in charge of the Credit and Marketing Department, performing duties that included:

  • Loan Administration, Review and Recovery
  • Exports and Special Projects

Since leaving the bank, she has served as Managing Director, Folton Nigeria Limited, Chairman Forward Bureau de Change and Director, Prosure Insurance Brokers where her vast experience has been of immense benefits to the company.
